Directions
by car
Coming from the north (A2):
1) Exit Rivera (is immediately after the Generi tunnel)
2) Drive in the direction of Lugano, about 8km to Taverne
3) in the tavern, turn left towards Tesserete
4) Follow the signs to Tesserete. You drive through Origlio, Vaglio and also Sala
5) At the 1st roundabout in Tesserete, 4th exit, immediately afterwards, right up into Via alle Pezze
6) After 500m, in the first 180 bend, turn left down into Via alle Scuole
7) You park your car in the Communale car park
8) On foot, turn left out of the car park, 20m down the street, turn right into Via Ronchi
9) After 170m, turn left into the hiking trail (no directions are signposted)
10) After 350m you have reached the Rustico.

Variation 1:
1) Lugano train station
2) The Lugano Nord bus station is on the left (main exit) when you come out of the train station, after approx. 200m
3) You take bus 442 towards Tesserte Stazione
4) You get off in Sala Capriasca Paese (journey takes about 27 minutes)
5) You go straight through the village, about 200m
6) 10m after you have passed kitchen builder "Hans Salathe-Piatti" on the right, turn into Via Ronchi
7) After 170m, turn left into the hiking trail (no directions are signposted)
8) After 350m you have reached the Rustico. The trail is initially stony, then a forest floor
Variation 1:
1) Lugano train station
2) The Lugano Nord bus station is on the left when you come out of the train station, after approx. 200m
3) You take the ARL bus 461 , direction Tesserte Stazione
4) Get off in Tesserete, follow the Sala Capriasca hiking trail for 18 minutes
5) or change in Tesserete to bus 442, direction Lugano, Autosilo Balestra, and get off in Sala Capriasca Paese. - follow variant 1 from point 5)
