In the middle of nature
250 years of history are hidden in the old walls of the former goat barn. In the meantime, the goats have moved out and the rustico has served as a holiday home for more than 50 years. Furnished with a lot of love and through regular, gentle renovations, the goat barn has developed into a jewel.
Casa Geissenstall is the ideal place for your vacation in Ticino! Whether with families or friends, there is space for up to six people and you can also bring your pet. The rustico is a bit out of the way between Sala and Ponte Capriasca. The Rustico can be reached in just a few minutes on foot via a hiking trail through a typical mixed forest.
The rustico is the ideal place to relax, play music or serve as a starting point for various outdoor activities. Casa Geissenstall has over 2000m2 of meadow, forest, a pergola, sun loungers, and simply pure nature.

The rustic, cozy Ticino style rustico has a fully equipped open kitchen with oven and dishwasher. The living room with fireplace invites you to cozy get-togethers. The two bedrooms, each with a double bed and 2 single beds, are spacious.
The bathroom with shower and separate toilet is newly renovated and also has a washing machine, which you are welcome to use.
The pergola not only provides pleasant shade during the hot summer months, but also invites you to linger with the grill and garden furniture.
Sala Capriasca
Sala Capriasca is a village and a former political municipality in the Capriasca district, in the Lugano district. In 2001 it merged with Tesserete, Campestro, "Odogno", Cagiallo, Lopagno, Roveredo Capriasca and Vaglio to form the new municipality of Capriasca.
You are in a particularly beautiful landscape with a high quality of life, rich in biodiversity, a mild climate and contemporary history and culture. The region makes every effort to preserve its historical and cultural heritage and to pass this wealth on to the population.
